Project Description

An existing subaqueous water main under Frazier Creek was damaged during dredging. EWR quickly and cost-effectively designed an aerial water main crossing over the creek. The intent was for the new main to be connected to the Florida Department of Transportation Bridge.
An areas of concern with both the subaqueous and aerial projects was the impact to mangroves, which involved requesting an exemption to an Environmental Resource Permit since this was a repair project, with no mangrove removal.
