This project included hydrologic modeling and permitting to design residential roads, stormwater management facilities and site grading plans for this agricultural ranchette community in Martin County.

Project Description

Hawk Lake is proposed to included 42 lots, each one at least 5 acres with an associated paved road. The development plan is to maintain as much of the existing vegetation as possible. The upland flatwoods are very picturesque and provide a pleasant rural setting for this community. Accordingly, clearing operations will be restricted to that only necessary to build the roads and stormwater management features.

This project included the design of residential roads, stormwater management facilities and site grading plans for this 383 acre agricultural ranchette community. Permitting efforts included: SFWMD Environmental Resource, Consumptive Use, and Dewatering Permits along with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection - NPDES Permit.
